What is it?

If you come to Granada with your dog, now you can get to know the millenary Arab neighborhood of Granada, the Albaicin, with your best friend. The Albaicin WAS the founding heart of the Kingdom of Granada. Its cultural and identity value is key to understand Granada.

What do we have to offer?

Albicin is the oldest neighborhood in Granada and a declared World Heritage site. Experiencing the intricate network of its streets, the history of the neighborhood that was the origin of the Kingdom of Granada and its historical evolution is key to understand Granada. An itinerary conceived to walk peacefully with our best friends while listening to the breathtaking legends and tales of a beautiful area that always looks at the Alhambra.

What will we see?

Starting from the grounds of the Christian Albaicin, Plaza Nueva, we will go up to Placeta de Santa Ines and up to the popular Mirador de San Nicolas viewpoint. Then, we will go down to Puerta Elvira, enjoying in our way some of the most emblematic places of the Arab Granada.

– Difficulty: medium low for children. For over 70 years, the difficulty is medium low. It is necessary to be accustomed to walking with some normality.

– Present at the meeting point at least 10 minutes in advance.

– It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and water in hot weather.

– People with mobility problems, medium accessibility, for wheelchairs, is not accessible. For babies we recommend that parents take them in baby carrier backpacks.
